Average sounding height in terms of pressure is determined as

For the better visual perception average pressure at the top of soundings is converted to geopotential height using CIRA model

Only soundings with 3 or more level are taken into account.
Such statistics is, definetely, highly dependent from the dissemination of Part D (Part B) of FM 35/FM 32 messages as well as dissemination of Part C.
